Station 26
Denver, CO
Project Description
The owner was looking for a unique building to house his new brew pub when he came across the old Denver Fire Station #26. Converting the old fire engine bays into an upscale brewery and tap room, he transformed the former fire station an iconic city brewpub.
The challenge was “How to modernize the HVAC system to make it a functional brewery & taproom.”
DMA Engineering designed a 15 HP steam boiler system for both the brewing process and hot water sanitation system, as well as the Station 26 Brewery chiller piping. DMA also coordinated with equipment manufacturers and brewing process suppliers to assure all the appropriate restaurant and brewing industry needs/requirements were met.
